Allied Health for Everybody.

At The Allied Health Edit, we offer bespoke
Allied Health support and tutoring across the lifespan.

Neuro-affirming, strengths-based health care.

We specialise in support and services for everyone, with the goal of empowering individuals in their day-to-day lives.

We believe in a neuro-affirming, or a strengths-based approach.

This means we aim to grow awareness of neurodiversity, and how our clients can begin to understand themselves and build upon their strengths.

We help to provide our clients, adults or children, with strategies that they can use in school or work.

Our Services

If you or someone you’re representing needs an assessment, support or you need a new educational provider, we’d love to chat.

We offer services both online and at our new clinic in Tenambit, the lower Hunter.

  • Early intervention refers to the support and services provided to children and their families when there are concerns about a child's development or behavior.

It focuses on identifying and addressing potential challenges or delays as early as possible to give children the best possible start in life. Early intervention can include a range of services such as therapies, educational programs, and family support.

  • A Coordinator of Supports helps individuals with disabilities navigate the NDIS and access services to achieve their goals. They work with participants to create personalized support plans, coordinate service delivery, and manage NDIS tasks. By collaborating with families and service providers, they ensure supports are effective and tailored to individual needs. They also monitor progress, adjust plans as needed, and advocate for participants to enhance their independence, social participation, and well-being.

  • Tutoring and education support involve providing academic assistance and guidance to students in order to enhance their learning and educational outcomes.

Tutoring typically involves one-on-one or small-group sessions with a qualified tutor who provides personalised instruction and support in specific subjects or areas of difficulty.

Education support may also encompass broader assistance, such as study groups, study skills workshops, or access to educational resources and materials.
